Ice Bucket Challenge (StoryBoard)

 This story board is about the ice bucket challenge, but not just any ice bucket challenge as we wanted to do it differently compared to most people in the world. Most people were just sitting in a chair, straight in the middle of the camera (Bulls eye). We didn't want this... So the teacher wanted each group to make their own ice bucket challenge video trying to stay away from bulls eye and making it more interesting to the viewers! Maybe include some slow-mo, alpha channels, over the shoulder shots etc...

 1.

Pan shot of the logo moving to the right. Mainly so the audience know the name of the location.

2.

Aerial shot of location (with a go pro). This is done to establish the location.

3.

Zoom out of the entrance, transitioning to a wide shot.

4.

Medium close up of Rami walking out of the door. This helps us to see what he shall be wearing for the event taking place and exactly where he is coming from (the school building).

Close up of his face, showing facial expressions.

6.

Extreme close up of eyes. Doing so will show the audience if the person is nervous, anxious, happy etc...

 Long-shot of Rami standing next to the logo of the school. This will be presented with an alpha col effect where only the logo and Rami are shown in colour.

Pov shot of him walking to the bucket. The Pov shot will help make us feel like we are there walking to the bucket or we are in his shoes.

Low angled shot before Rami walks around the corner.

Over the shoulder shot focusing on the shoulder first then focusing on Rami, thus making it feel like something is about to happen.

Person picks up the bucket (using a medium shot) and then fades out to the next scene.

Low angled shot as Rami sits on a chair. (Will be shot in slow mo). the slow mo helps us capture the moment and really experience it.

In shot 2 we will have a medium to wide shot displayed from the side of Rami and the person holding the bucket of ice. ( Also shot in slow mo).

Close up of face after the bucket of ice has been thrown over him. With this being done we can see the expressions on his face after the challenge.

 15.

 

 Extreme close up as he turns to face the camera, as we expect either a look of disappointment or pure excitement from completing the challenge.

Medium close up transitioning into a close up. ( Rami screams)
